The LGBTQ+ Association of Business Scholars (LABS) is a new group that aims to provide community and resources for LGBTQIA+ students at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s Haslam College of Business. Organization president Avery Vantrease, a senior majoring in supply chain management, answered some questions about the organization’s mission and plans.

Eneida Roldan (PEMBA, ’03), Florida International University’s health care network CEO, wears many hats in the world of medicine and higher education. As associate dean for international affairs, associate dean of the master in physician assistant studies and a professor at FIU’s Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine, her work not only influences human health, but also the training of new practitioners. Haslam Earns Top 25 Spot Among Public Schools in Bloomberg’s Best B-Schools Ranking

The University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s Haslam College of Business climbed to 22nd among public business schools nationally in the latest Bloomberg Businessweek MBA program rankings. Haslam also moved up seven spots overall from 2019, coming in at No. 48 among all business schools nationally. (Bloomberg Businessweek did not publish a ranking in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.) Haslam also is ranked No. 36 in learning experience and No. 39 in networking.

AIM and WEB Programs Introduce High Schoolers to Business Concepts
