The Hilton Knoxville is the primary conference hotel with a BCERC rate of $130/night (breakfast and taxes excluded). Please reserve your room through the BCERC registration link. Note: the room block is on a first come first served basis and is limited. The Hilton is located one mile from the James A. Haslam II Business Building and the Student Union at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. It is within a half-mile of conference reception venues and a short walking distance to retail, dining, bars and entertainment. The Hilton boasts a Starbucks Coffee in the lobby, a full restaurant and bar and an outdoor patio space in addition to the amenities expected of a Hilton hotel.

Directions

Located at the intersection of U.S. interstates I-75 and I-40, Knoxville is a major driving destination. It is less than 300 miles from Atlanta, Birmingham, Charlotte, Cincinnati and Nashville.

For travelers who are flying, McGhee Tyson airport (TYS) is located 13 miles from downtown Knoxville and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Six major airlines (Allegiant, American Airlines, Delta, Frontier and United) fly in and out of TYS. More than 120 arrivals and departures each day provide more than 4,000 available seats.

TYS has direct, nonstop flights to and from nearly every major U.S. airline hub plus several other cities, including Atlanta, Baltimore, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Denver, Destin / Fort Walton, Detroit, Fort Lauderdale, Houston, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, New York (LaGuardia and Newark), Orlando, Philadelphia, Punta Gorda, Tampa Bay / St. Petersburg and Washington, D.C. (Dulles and Reagan National).

Traveling to and from the Knoxville airport can be done via Uber, Lyft, taxi or charter services. The airport is 13 miles from the UT campus and downtown Knoxville.

The City of Knoxville offers a free trolley service for downtown (where the conference hotels are located), the UT campus and area attractions. The trolley runs until 8 p.m. on weekdays and until 10 p.m. on weekends. The trolley runs every 10-15 minutes.

Knoxville’s downtown is highly walkable, with entertainment centers such as the Old City, Gay Street, Market Square and World’s Fair Park all within one mile.
