Business Analytics and Statistics PhD Students
Fahimeh is a fourth-year doctoral student with research interests in supply chain management, sharing-economy, and empirical modeling in economy and marketing. She earned her master's degree in industrial engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 2017. Before starting the doctoral program, she worked as a research assistant at the University of Tennessee, Space Institute. Also, she has five-year experience as a senior business analyst in several E-commerce companies.

Ph.D. in Business Analytics
Hui is a fourth-year PhD student in Business Analytics and Statistics. Her research interests include Hospital-Physician Relationship in Health Care Systems, Crowdsourced Data Application, Predictive Analytics, Data Mining. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the Beijing University of Chemical Technology, China in 2011 and her master’s degree from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania in 2013.
Senne Van Steelandt
Senne is a third-year doctoral student with research interests in the application of reinforcement learning to digital marketing. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business engineering from Ghent University in 2016 and 2018 respectively. Prior to starting the doctoral program, Senne worked as a student business intelligence developer at sympl.
Yaojin is a fourth-year doctoral student with research interests in statistics and machine learning algorithms. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics from Shanghai Jiaotong University in 2015. Before starting the doctoral program, he worked as a research assistant at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
Zheng is a third-year doctoral student with research interests in machine learning, text mining, customer analysis. He earned his master's degree in statistics at the University of Texas at El Paso, USA, and environmental economics and management at Tohoku University, Japan. Prior to starting the doctoral program, Zheng worked in Deloitte China in Beijing as an analyst.
