Haslam College of Business and Department of Marketing

Big Orange, Big Ideas is a slogan we hear often at UT. At the Haslam College of Business, we take those words a step further, delivering big results by producing better, more prepared students and impactful, interdisciplinary research. We are 100 years strong in business education, covering the for-profit, not-for-profit and governmental sectors of business. By inspiring students, colleagues, business and society, we seek to challenge the status quo, enhance knowledge, drive change and transform the world.

The college's department of marketing offers a transformative undergraduate experience that prepares students to enter into the workforce directly and make proactive contributions to their company’s bottom line. Our students learn how to make decisions strategically and how to target customers with value propositions. The Haslam MBA program is highly ranked and offers a marketing concentration consisting of nine credit hours, and our Ph.D. program prepares students to research and teach effectively throughout their academic careers.
