Black Belt Certification Program

Course Description

The primary objective of this two-week course is to equip individuals with the skills to improve organizational performance by effectively acquiring and interpreting data and generating management action based on the insights gained. Additional topics, such as leadership skills, mentoring others, and conducting successful meetings will be covered in pursuit of a holistic Black Belt educational experience.

In addition to the classroom learning, the Black Belt candidate will work a rigorous project determined to provide significant ROI to the organization with faculty mentoring throughout the project.

  • In addition, you will learn and practice ‘soft skills’, such as leadership, mentoring, effective communication, etc. that are essential to successful implementation of process improvement.

Duration & Dates

Two non-consecutive weeks with 30 hours of additional online content.

Tuition includes most meals, single-room hotel lodging, on-campus transportation, materials/simulations and professional education credits, where applicable.

Tuition does not include:
One faculty site visit related to the Black Belt candidate’s project; travel and per diem to be billed at cost.
