Amy Jared is a coordinator of undergraduate professional and career development in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She provides insight and knowledge to assist in curriculum development and implementation of Business Administration 300.  She also provides assistance for undergraduate students to obtain strategies and resources for the achievement of higher value-added educational outcomes and career opportunities. Before joining the office of Professional and Career Development, Jared served as a senior academic advisor for undergraduate programs in Haslam. Prior to her professional roles at UT, Jared worked at Tennessee Tech University as a professional academic advisor and worked with the College of Education’s Department of Exercise Science in developing new concentrations and course curriculum. She is involved in professional organizations and has presented at the regional and state levels. Prior to her work in career development, Jared worked as a mental health counselor. Her interest in counseling and helping others lead her to higher education and to pursue assisting students with their academic and career goals.
