Eric Kelley is an Associate Professor of Finance. He joins the College of Business Administration from the Eller    College of Management at the University of Arizona, where he spent eight years on the faculty. He also previously served one year on the faculty at Washington State University. Eric earned a PhD in Finance from Texas A&M University, a MS in Finance from Texas Tech University, and a BBA with a double major in Computer Information Systems and Finance from West Texas A&M University.

Eric’s current research focuses on issues in empirical asset pricing and market microstructure, with particular emphasis on how information is incorporated into prices. His research has been published in the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Finance and Quantitative Analysis, and theReview of Financial Studies and presented at top Finance conferences such as the American Finance Association and Western Finance Association annual meetings. Eric has taught a variety of courses at the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral level. While at the University of Arizona, Eric received the Finance Department’s Scrivner Teaching Award in 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 and the Eller College Dean’s Award for Undergraduate Teaching Excellence in 2012-2013.
