The University of Tennessee’s Global Supply Chain Institute has the privilege of serving as the preeminent global hub responsible for connecting corporate industry leaders, supply chain professionals, researchers and students at all stages of their careers.
The Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, prepares students with a broad, cross-disciplinary approach to supply chain management (SCM). We graduate supply chain professionals capable of managing and controlling boundary-spanning activities and processes both within the firm and across the global supply chain.
“UT SCM students have a much faster ramp and better real-world experiences than other SCM graduates. It’s why we invest so much in UT talent and alumni at Dell.”
Rob McIntosh
Senior Vice President, Dell Global Fulfillment, Logistics and Trade
Every year, 150 companies, including some of the most prominent in the industry, welcome bright, industry-ready graduates from our supply chain programs. The best way to connect to our students is through our recruiting team and by hosting a booth at one of our career fairs.
Our dedicated recruiting team is ready to partner with you to understand your recruiting goals and work closely with you to match you with candidates who have the appropriate skills to meet your needs. Get in touch with us about recruiting our students by filling out the form at the bottom of this page.
Throughout the year, Haslam hosts various career fairs that allow businesses to meet with our students and promote themselves as an employer. For more details about hosting a table at our career fairs, contact Katie Wiley, assistant director of the UT Center for Career Development and Academic Exploration.
Fall 2025 Events
We also provide our Supply Chain Forum members additional opportunities to meet and recruit students. Many of these exclusive opportunities are now offered virtually.
Meet with SCM students at this exclusive event the evening before the SCM Career Fair each fall.
Connect with colleagues at two forum receptions and network with our most accomplished graduate students and undergraduate SCM majors, including Scholars of Distinction.
Supply Chain Forum partners have priority access to speaking engagements and networking opportunities for UT’s student organization events. This group (TASC) creates opportunities for students to meet and learn from industry leaders and get hands-on learning in supply chain.
Our students love opportunities to connect and learn from supply chain professionals. Share your expertise and career experience with students eager to learn firsthand about the SCM profession. This event can be tailored to serve as a professional development opportunity or a recruiting event. It can be open to all SCM students or a select few. You decide!
Only Supply Chain Forum members have the opportunity to speak in SCM classes. Please contact GSCI before the semester begins (July/November) to coordinate topics and dates.
Twice a year, meet one-on-one with a select group of undergraduate students. Get résumé books, begin career conversations, and identify potential candidates for your company.
This smaller career fair is a unique opportunity for companies to interact with any UT student interested in pursuing roles in supply chain management. Supply Chain Forum members are given priority access for registration.
Meet with 10-15 top-performing students who meet your company’s specific criteria. At this intimate event, inform students about supply chain opportunities with your company, respond to questions, and enjoy connecting with some of our best students!
