Undergraduate Programs

The Global Supply Chain Institute’s partners gain access to the University of Tennessee’s top-ranked undergraduate students through networking events, class projects, luncheons and more.

Two student groups hold networking events specifically for Supply Chain Forum attendees, both to build connection in the field and to foster recruiting opportunities.

Scholars of Distinction

The Scholars of Distinction is a group of top-performing students identified as early as their freshman year. Students are selected based on their academic record, campus leadership, community service and work experience. Participants attend classes to refine their career goals and professional acumen.

Recruitment access to the SCM Scholars of Distinction is an exclusive benefit for Supply Chain Forum sponsors.

Supply Chain Forum Sponsors can:

  • Engage with Scholars of Distinction at the forum’s speed networking session twice a year.
  • Host company meet and greets with Scholars of Distinction during each forum.
  • Recruit through periodic career updates on each Scholar of Distinction throughout the year.

Started by a group of female supply chain students and professors, NeXxus aims to promote gender diversity in the field. The organization provides an opportunity for women to seek advice and mentorship from other women in the field.

NeXxus holds a networking reception at each supply chain forum, and once a year recognizes a Distinguished Woman in Supply Chain Management. It’s events are open to all supply chain forum attendees.
