IPSERA 2020

Dear IPSERA family and friends,

Due to the unfortunate circumstances surrounding the Covid-19 virus outbreak, the IPSERA 2020 conference and the 2020 Logistics Doctoral Symposium have been postponed to March 28 – 31, 2021. Anyone who has bought air travel tickets should be able to change the dates as this is within a year of purchase.

We are currently in the process of organizing the details of the postponement, and we will inform you as soon as more information is available. In the mean time, if you have any urgent concerns, we kindly ask you to contact the conference organizers at ipsera2020@ipsera.com.

The University of Tennessee Supply Chain Department, the Haslam College of Business, the IPSERA Conference Committee and the IPSERA Executive Committee send their regrets and apologies for this unexpected postponement. We also apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you, and we hope you understand the remarkable nature of this recent global health issue.

More information will follow.

Very respectfully,

IPSERA 2020 Organising Committee
IPSERA Executive Committee

UPDATE

Following our March 4 email confirming the postponement of the 2020 IPSERA conference, the organizers and the Executive Committee first would like to thank everyone for their understanding and support.

We have discussed the questions raised by participants and can now confirm that the proceedings will still be made available, best paper and doctoral dissertation awards will still be given out and that a Journal of Purchasing & Supply Management Special Issue is still planned.

We will respond as soon as possible to individual emails sent to the organizers and IPSERA. We fully understand that there are other areas to discuss further, but we hope that the points above address some of the questions raised.

More information will come as we figure out how to deal with this situation. We just want to keep everyone informed of where we are to this point.
