Leadership Development

The Executive MBA – Strategic Leadership enables executives to gain the intellectual agility necessary for organization-wide management and firmly places them on the path for continuous leadership growth.

All students undergo one-on-one leadership training with a dedicated executive leadership development coach. Coaches are drawn from faculty, staff, and community business leaders and professionals with decades of management experience. Students and coaches are matched by industry and/or interest.

Each student develops an individual leadership plan with their coach and retains support from that coach to continue the plan for at least one year after graduation.

Leadership Development Plans Include:

  • Personal assessments
  • 360-degree feedback
  • Group exercises
  • Role playing

Peer-to-peer relationships also contribute significantly to leadership development throughout the program. Students spend a year in frequent communication and collaboration with other business leaders, exchanging ideas and best practices. They work with participants in the healthcare and supply chain EMBA tracks, expanding their perspective and network of contacts. Alumni often cite these relationships with their classmates as one of the most pivotal aspects of the program, and one that endures long after graduation.
