Participants complete the Executive MBA - Strategic Leadership in a single year. The average time commitment is about 20 hours per week for readings and assignments, and all assignments relate directly to work participants perform on the job.
We convey a comprehensive, MBA degree in a shortened duration by catering to adult learning principles and projects. Prework covers the basic concepts, and we supplement lectures with simulations, case studies and discussion exercises.
The program combines 20 online learning sessions with four nine-day residence periods (RPs) conducted at the University of Tennessee and abroad.
During the residence periods, participants attend classes, meet with faculty advisors and leadership development coaches, and work on project teams with peers. Three are on campus in Knoxville, Tennessee, and one is a global immersion seminar rotating between Asia, South/Central America and Eastern Europe.
