Admissions to Masters Program

All master’s and doctoral candidates to the Haslam College of Business must first apply through UT’s Graduate School.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited, four-year program
  • GMAT/GRE (see specific degree for waivable circumstances)
  • TOEFL or IELTS for non-native English speakers

Graduate Assistantships and Fellowships

Assistantships are a university tuition waiver (excluding university and program fees) plus a stipend in exchange for 10-20 hours of weekly work within your department. Fellowships are typically merit-based and do not require service.

Haslam master’s programs offer several of both, awarded through the application process. No additional forms are necessary.

The priority deadline to be considered for graduate assistantships, fellowships and scholarships is January 15. Check program details for key admission dates.

Upcoming Events

The graduate program staff maintains an active schedule of recruiting events and seeks to meet with prospective students in order to discuss next steps, provide initial feedback on candidacies, and help with the application process. More events coming soon.
