May 8, 2020

A Financial Times ranking released today places the University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s Haslam College of Business at No. 1 in the world for custom executive education facilities and program support, up two spots from 2019.

“A highly personalized, outstanding experience is the standard of quality provided by Haslam’s graduate and executive education programs,” Bruce Behn, associate dean for graduate and executive education, says. “As accomplished professionals, time is a precious commodity for our program participants. Our talented faculty and staff work hard to ensure all aspects of our programs are executed seamlessly, allowing participants to concentrate solely on their personal and professional development. The high marks given to Haslam by our students and evidenced in this ranking are a validation of these efforts.”

Among U.S. public institutions the college rose by one, from No. 4 to No. 3, and among all U.S. schools (public and private), it climbed two spots, from No. 8 to No. 6. Haslam’s ranking among all schools remained at No. 20 in the world. This marks the sixth consecutive year that Haslam’s custom executive education programs have been ranked in the top five among U.S. public institutions by the Financial Times.

The Financial Times ranks the world’s top 80 business schools providing custom executive education and bases its rankings on both individual surveys completed by the schools’ clients and institutional data.
