February 19, 2019

The University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s Haslam College of Business Executive MBA program is the 12th best among public universities according to a new Poets & Quants for Executives ranking that combines results from The Economist, Financial Times and U.S. News & World Report. The program ranks 28th among all U.S. universities nationally.

“The Haslam Executive MBA consistently receives high praise from its students and alumni – it was named the No. 1 most relevant program worldwide in The Economist last year – and so we’re excited but not surprised by this strong showing in Poets & Quants,” says Bruce Behn, associate dean for graduate and executive education at Haslam.

Behn said Haslam’s ability to help executives further develop their business acumen and leadership skills sets it apart. “We provide exec students with a full-service experience that allows them to focus on courses directly connected to the daily work of their organizations,” he says.

Designed for working professionals, the 11-month Haslam Executive MBA program focuses on three areas: Global Supply Chain, Healthcare Leadership and Strategic Leadership. The college also offers an Aerospace & Defense MBA, a Physician Executive MBA, a Professional MBA and the traditional full-time Haslam MBA.

This was the first year the Haslam Executive MBA was ranked by Poets & Quants for Executives. The ranking joins several significant advances by the college in other rankings during 2018.
