The MBA program at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s Haslam College of Business rose to the 49th spot among all full-time master’s programs in the 2019 Poets & Quants Top 100 U.S. MBA rankings. Additionally, the program climbed to No. 25 among public institutions.
In recent years, the college’s full-time MBA has shown a steady upswing in the Poets & Quants Top 100 U.S. MBA Programs rankings. It moved from No. 56 among all institutions in 2017 to No. 52 last year. Among public institutions, it rose from 29th in 2017 to 26th last year.
Bruce Behn, associate dean for Graduate & Executive Education, says students, alumni and employers count on Haslam to offer a high-quality, accelerated learning experience that delivers a strong return on investment.
“The Haslam MBA provides a superior educational foundation for our students, including a focus on applied learning experiences,” Behn says. “This rise in the rankings reflects our full-time MBA team’s consistent push toward recruiting talented students and delivering positive career and personal outcomes for them.”
This ranking reflects a series of positive accolades for the program, which was recently named No. 79 in the world by the Economist and No. 16 in the nation for best learning experience by Bloomberg Businessweek.
