The undergraduate program at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s Haslam College of Business climbed up the U.S. News & World Report 2020 Best Business Schools ranking to No. 31 among public institutions. The college also moved up 12 spots among all business colleges nationally, to No. 50 from No. 62.

“The Haslam College of Business seeks to offer a world class business education to each student crossing our threshold with a desire to apply and push themselves,” said Lane Morris, associate dean of Undergraduate Studies and Student Affairs and the Ergen Professor in Business. “We are thrilled to join the top 35 public business colleges, enforcing what we have known here for some time – Haslam is a place where excellence and possibility come together in tangible ways.”

Additionally, Haslam’s undergraduate supply chain management program ranked seventh nationally, and its marketing program was 21st among public schools and 37th nationally.

U.S. News determined its rankings by averaging surveys taken in 2018 and 2019 of deans and senior faculty at business schools accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Participants were asked to rate the quality of programs with which they were familiar on a scale from one to five, with five being distinguished.
