The MBA program at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s Haslam College of Business moved up one spot, from 49th to 48th, among all full-time master’s programs in the 2020 Poets&Quants Top 100 U.S. MBA rankings. Additionally, the program rose from No. 25 to No. 24 among public institutions. This marks four years of steady advance since the MBA program was first ranked by Poets&Quants in 2017.
Bruce Behn, associate dean for graduate and executive education, says students, alumni and employers have come to expect Haslam to offer a high-caliber, expedited learning experience with a superior ROI.

The Poets&Quants MBA program rankings list, now in its 11th year, combines the world’s five latest, most influential business school rankings: U.S. News & World Report, Forbes, Bloomberg Businessweek, the Financial Times and The Economist. Each ranking is separately weighted according to Poets&Quants’ estimation of its credibility. U.S. News is given a weight of 35 percent and Forbes 25 percent, while both the Financial Times and Businessweek are given a 15 percent weight. The Economist receives a 10 percent weight.
