Office of Marketing and Public Relations seeks Student Photographer and Videographers

The Office of Marketing and Public Relations at the College of Business Administration needs student assistance in photography and videography. The college is excited to be building upon its reputation of excellence to define the brand and expand the reach of its marketing and public relations efforts. Two student worker positions will contribute to these goals. Please see the detailed descriptions below for more information on the positions or to apply. Resumes and related materials are due no later than Sept 29.

Student photographer: The Office of Marketing and Public Relations in the College of Business Administration at the University of Tennessee is seeking a student photographer to assist in capturing special events, supplementing the college’s stock photography portfolio and organizing its photo archives. Hours will vary depending on need but will not exceed 15 hours per week. Assignments will include photographing special events such as speakers, alumni guests and proceedings, forums and/or conferences held within the Haslam Business Building. In addition, there are needs for journalistic-style stock photography in classrooms and around the building during peak usage times. Special assignments as needed, at direction of the executive director. You must have your own camera and equipment and be able to provide edited, publication-quality photography on a deadline. Strong time management skills necessary. Student videographer: The Office of Marketing and Public Relations in the College of Business Administration at the University of Tennessee is seeking a student videographer to assist in capturing special events and supplementing the college’s video portfolio and archives. Hours will vary depending on need but will not exceed 15 hours per week. Assignments will include recording special events such as speakers, alumni guests and proceedings, forums and/or conferences held within the Haslam Business Building. In addition, there are needs for journalistic-style stock b-roll in classrooms and around the building during peak usage times and testimonial/promotional videos for the website. Special assignments as needed, at direction of the executive director. Video editing is required. The College of Business Administration can provide equipment and software, but this position requires both shooting video and editing/creating finished professional-style finished clips and packages on deadlines. Strong time management skills necessary.
