The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Haslam College of Business’ full-time MBA debuted in the Princeton Review’s Best On-Campus MBA Programs list’s ranked categories as the No. 3 Best Administered MBA Program, the No. 6 Best MBA for Operations and the No. 9 Most Family Friendly MBA Program.
The No. 3 ranking for Best Administered MBA reflects high student satisfaction with how the college functions, faculty accessibility and ease of securing required and elective courses. The No. 6 Best MBA for Operations demonstrates Haslam MBA students are well-prepared for careers in operations, with positive career outcomes reported for graduates going into the field. The No. 9 ranking for Most Family Friendly MBA recognizes the institutional support provided for students with families and spouses. The Princeton Review’s best on-campus programs rankings drew on surveys from 24,250 on-campus MBA students.
A Rewarding Academic Experience
Stephen L. Mangum, Haslam’s dean and Stokely Foundation Leadership Chair, says the No. 3 Best Administered MBA ranking reflects the dedication of the MBA team, as well as preparedness of program graduates.
“This ranking speaks to our students’ satisfaction with the vision for Haslam’s graduate programs, as well as the hands-on direction from full-time MBA faculty and staff leadership,” says Mangum. “Students recognize the program is delivering a world-class educational experience that equips them with the requisite knowledge and in-demand skills top companies expect in new hires. Please join me in celebrating the hard work of the many faculty and staff members who helped the college earn this ranking.”
The rankings also reflect the college’s commitment to providing a supportive academic atmosphere, says Amy Cathey, Haslam’s associate dean for Graduate and Executive Education.
“The Haslam MBA is the college’s longest running MBA program, founded in 1966,” she explains. “As our first MBA program, the full-time MBA sets the standard in terms of a premium student experience. It’s a high honor to be recognized by our students as the top U.S. public university for program administration. I like to think we have some of the nation’s best faculty and staff, and this ranking indicates that our students think that, too.”
The Haslam MBA is a STEM-designated, 16-month residential program recently recognized as a Top 20 program by Bloomberg Businessweek and Fortune. Applications are now being accepted for fall 2027.
