UT Faculty and Staff Honor Cherol Mee With Buddy’s Race Against Cancer Team

November 21, 2013

Nearly 5,000 people hit the streets to raise money for cancer care and education at the 20th Buddy’s Race Against Cancer. Of those participating were about 25 participants from the UT College of Business Administration– current students and alumni from the college’s Greg and Lisa Smith Global Leadership Scholars undergraduate honors program, current Masters of Business Analytics and Master of Accountancy students, and faculty and staff from the college’s Department of Statistics, Operations, and Management Science (SOMS) . All were running in honor of Cherol Mee, wife of SOMS Professor Bobby Mee, who recently was diagnosed with cancer. Megan Nixon, Global Leadership Scholars Class of 2012 and current Master of Accountancy student, took second place overall for women.
