The full-time MBA program and its supply chain management concentration at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, were again listed among the nation’s best in the 2015 U.S. News & World Report graduate rankings.

The College of Business Administration’s supply chain management program rankedseventh among public universities and 11th nationally, unchanged from last year.
“Supply chain management is one of our most popular MBA concentrations,” said Amy Cathey, executive director of the full-time MBA program. “Our graduates in this area learn from internationally recognized faculty and are highly valued by industry. Many are placed in Fortune 500 companies doing work that impacts the products and brands we use every day.”
U.S. News & World Report also top ranked the College of Business Administration’s full-time MBA program 37th among top public university programs in the country, also unchanged from last year.
“This recognition of our supply chain management and logistics program honors the commitment of our faculty to stay ahead of the curve in the research and instruction that drives business and innovation,” said Steve Mangum, dean of the College of Business Administration. “We are pleased to rank in the top ten publics and will continue to strive toward excellence in graduate education.”
U.S. News compared more than 1,350 graduate programs at public and private institutions for this year’s rankings. The rankings are based on opinions from experts about program excellence and on statistics that measure the quality of a school’s students, faculty and research.
“World-class graduate education is one of the goals of our journey toward the Top 25,” UT Chancellor Jimmy G. Cheek said. “These graduate programs are excellent examples of the success that comes with our commitment to this goal, and we are pleased to see them recognized in this way.”
