The Full-Time MBA application requires two references as well as transcripts, GMAT/GRE scores, TOEFL score (if applicable), a resume and responses to a set of essay questions. Applications can be submitted with unofficial transcripts; official versions are only required upon admission. Applicants may self-report GMAT/GRE scores, but official scores should be sent to UT directly from the testing body upon admission (GMAT ID: 8GR-KN-71, GRE ID: 1834).
Top six traits we look for in our Full-Time MBA candidates:

Recommended Coursework: Applicants who earned non-business undergraduate degrees are encouraged to take fundamental courses in one or all of the following: accounting, Excel, finance and statistics before entering the program.
Admission Test Options: Either the GMAT or GRE is required and scores are valid for five years. Active duty military and veterans should contact email@example.com to inquire about the possibility of a GMAT or GRE waiver. No exemption consideration is available for the MBA/MS in Engineering or the MBA/MS in Business Analytics programs.
English Language Proficiency: For applicants whose native language is not English, the MBA program requires a minimum score of 600 or 100 IBT for the TOEFL or 7.5 for the IELTS. Test scores are valid for two years.
Application deadline for U.S. citizens and permanent residents is March 1. Early applications are encouraged and competitive applications are considered on a rolling basis. March 1 is also the deadline for criteria-based financial awards requiring separate application.
