Biography

Anita Sawyer Hollander serves as the assistant department head for the Department of Accounting and Information Management, as well as the director of information management, for the University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s Haslam College of Business. She teaches information management courses and performs administrative duties. Before coming to UT, Hollander was the Chapman Professor in the College of Business at the University of Tulsa and was a member of the College of Business faculty at Florida State University.

Hollander has published a variety of journal articles and research reports and is coauthor of both text books and a professional book. She has presented her work at numerous academic and professional conferences and has received several teaching and academic awards during her career. She received national distinction when she was appointed a Carnegie Scholar by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning.
