Mandyam M. Srinivasan (“Srini”) is the Pilot Corporation Chair of Excellence (Emeritus) at The University of Tennessee. He teaches in degree and non-degree executive programs run by the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee. He received the prestigious Franz Edelman Award for achievement in Operations Research from the Institute for Operations Research and Management Sciences, and numerous awards for leadership in executive education and for outstanding teaching in programs at the University of Tennessee.
Srini worked many years in leading automobile manufacturing organizations and successfully installed and managed materials planning and control systems in these organizations. He has published five books, including Building Lean Supply Chains with the Theory of Constraints, Global Supply Chains: Evaluating Regions on an EPIC Framework, and Lean Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul: Changing the Way You Do Business.
He has consulted with many organizations including Sony, SPX, Embraer, Norfolk Southern, Lennox, Textron, Bush Brothers and the U.S. Air Force. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and playing “music” on his Gibson Les Paul guitar.
