
Tamara Crook
Tamara Crook received her Ph.D. in Business Administration (Accounting) from Florida State University, an MBA (Finance) from California State University, Fresno, and a B.S. from California State University, San Bernardino. Her research concentrates on ways to improve decision quality by examining information context and individual risk aversion. Before starting her Ph.D. program, Tamara worked as an accountant and lecturer. As an accountant, she specialized in individual and partnership taxation, but was most challenged by her audit experience.
Dr. Crook has taught a wide range of courses including beginning, intermediate, and managerial accounting, auditing, and financial statement analysis. Dr. Crook currently teaches financial accounting in the Greg & Lisa Smith Global Leadership Scholars Program.
