This brief report, prepared for the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, provides a data-driven analysis of trends in the automobile industry in Tennessee. Historical data are presented along with comparisons to the nation and other states to put the Tennessee situation in context. This report is one of several studies that have been developed by the Center for Business and Economic Research focused on the automobile industry in Tennessee.
