Living learning communities help first-year students make lasting connections with peers in a particular area of interest. Students attend classes together, live in the same residence hall, and participate in a variety of enrichment and leadership opportunities outside the classroom.

First-Year Study Abroad Experience

The First-Year Study Abroad Experience is an opportunity for freshman to study abroad for one week with Haslam faculty between their first and second semesters. The program seeks to engage underclass business students with global business issues while exposing them to study abroad. Recent programs have traveled to Cuba and Costa Rica.
