International Internships

Requirements

As a student in the Haslam College of Business, you have the opportunity to participate in an internship program abroad. Students who intern abroad have the potential of earning IB 492 credit, which can count towards an IB concentration or collateral. In order to earn 3 credit hours of IB 492, students must have between 150 – 299 contact hours at their internship and have at least 35 contact hours in a supporting professional development class. Students can also earn 6 credit hours of IB 492 if they are in their internship for more than 300 contact hours and have at least 70 contact hours in their supporting course.

Application Process

Fill out the online application for the internship program on the Programs Abroad website. In the application, students will be asked to submit a resume and a cover letter.

These programs require that you complete a Canvas module providing more information before applying.
