Message from the Managing Director

On behalf of the UT Global Supply Chain Institute, I’m delighted to welcome you to a community built on collaboration, innovation, and real-world impact. Our mission is simple: we harness the power of cutting-edge research and industry insight to elevate supply chain leadership.

The results speak for themselves.

Since 2022, our programs and research have earned 10 top-five rankings from respected organizations, including U.S. News & World Report, Financial Times, SCM Journal List, and Supply Chain Guide. Through graduate programs such as our Master of Science in Supply Chain Management Online —twice ranked No. 1 in North America by Gartner—and our new master’s in global supply chain management, we deliver flexible, immersive experiences that develop leaders ready to make an immediate impact.

Beyond degree programs, GSCI helps individuals and organizations accelerate performance through our four distinct SCM Academies—Leadership, Finance, Procurement, and Planning. These cohort-based online programs blend advanced academic thinking with practical application to create transformative talent development experiences.

Our reach extends across industries through partnerships with more than 75 of the world’s leading organizations, including many Fortune 500 companies. Twice a year, more than 300 professionals from these companies gather at our Supply Chain Forum, the largest university-sponsored SCM event in the country, for unparalleled networking, learning, and recruiting the best students in the country. Their executives, who come together to form our Advisory Board, trust GSCI to help them stay ahead of the curve.

Beyond forum membership, we offer unique partnership opportunities through our Advanced Supply Chain and Transportation and Logistics collaboratives, as well as an archive of more than 35 white papers addressing the most pressing trends, challenges, and innovations shaping supply chains today.

You’ll find that GSCI is about more than just education. We provide a hub for practitioners and scholars alike to contribute, to collaborate, and to lead. Whether your goal is accelerated career development, leadership mastery, or strategic innovation, our people, programs, and partnerships are here to make it happen.
