The Advantage of Haslam Graduates
The Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, prepares students with a broad, cross-disciplinary approach to supply chain management (SCM). We graduate supply chain professionals capable of managing and controlling boundary-spanning activities and processes both within the firm and across the global supply chain.

- Over 1,900 Supply Chain Management Students – Supply chain management is among the most popular majors at UT. From 2020 to 2025, it was No. 1 based on the number of degrees granted. Currently, we have over 1,500 supply chain management undergraduate students and 400+ graduate students enrolled in our programs.

Every year, 150 companies, including some of the most prominent in the industry, welcome bright, industry-ready graduates from our supply chain programs. The best way to connect with our students is through our recruiting team and by hosting a booth at one of our career fairs.

Participate in our career fairs
Throughout the year, Haslam hosts various career fairs that allow businesses to meet with our students and promote themselves as an employer. Tennessee Association of Supply Chain Student Organization
GSCI partners have priority access to speaking engagements and networking opportunities for UT’s student organization events. This group (TASC) creates opportunities for students to meet and learn from industry leaders and get hands-on learning in supply chain management.
Career Roundtables
Our students love opportunities to connect and learn from supply chain professionals. Share your expertise and career experience with students eager to learn firsthand about the SCM profession. This event can be tailored to serve as a professional development opportunity or a recruiting event. It can be open to all SCM students or a select few. You decide!
In-Class Presentations
Only GSCI partners have the opportunity to speak in SCM classes. Please contact GSCI before the semester begins (July/November) to coordinate topics and dates.
Speed Networking at the Supply Chain Forum
Twice a year, meet one-on-one with a select group of undergraduate students. Get résumé books, begin career conversations, and identify potential candidates for your company.
SCM Career Fair
The fall and spring fairs bring together employers and highly prepared students pursuing careers in supply chain management and related fields, including business analytics, industrial engineering, marketing, and sustainability. This recruiting event offers access to a strong pipeline of candidates for internships and full-time roles, with GSCI partners receiving priority registration
Lunch and Learn Events
Meet with 10-15 top-performing students who meet your company’s specific criteria. At this intimate event, inform students about supply chain opportunities with your company, respond to questions, and enjoy connecting with some of our best students!
