The inaugural Marketing and Sales Innovation Conference and Awards unites professionals in any stage of their career to explore new ideas, imagine new connections and envision the future of marketing and sales — all on the beautiful University of Tennessee campus in Knoxville.
Each day will kick off with a keynote speaker, followed by innovative breakout sessions and workshops in four distinct tracks: Brand Management, Digital Marketing, Nonprofit Marketing and Professional Sales.
Tony Vitello
We are happy to announce Coach Tony Vitello will be the keynote speaker for day one. The evening of day one will feature our Networking at Neyland event, with all conference attendees and Department of Marketing students getting a chance to mix and mingle at the stadium’s all-new Lower West Club.
Randy Boyd
Day two will begin with breakfast and a message from keynote speaker, University of Tennessee System President Randy Boyd. The awards ceremony will take place during lunch on day two. Judges will award the top submissions in four categories that reflect the conference tracks and our Volunteer values.
Awards Submission
The culmination of the conference will be an awards luncheon. Everyone is welcome to submit their company or their work for consideration in any — or all — of the following four categories.
Brand Journey Award

This award celebrates organizations that have leveraged new, novel or adaptive technologies to increase their effectiveness in the digital marketing realm. Submissions could include user experience enhancements, social media innovations or creative content strategies, as examples.
Sales Achievement Award
This award acknowledges a company’s or organization’s outstanding performance and contributions to the field of sales.
