Humberto Velazquez – First Generation
Humberto Velazquez came to the United States without knowing the language or the culture. After distinguishing himself with induction into the National Honor Society, Velazquez was mentored by a Haslam College of Business alumnus who helped him further pursue his education. Haslam enrolls more first generation students than any other top 50 business school. We take our commitment to students like Humberto seriously. We give our students the support they need to thrive.
