Welcome to the Haslam family! As an admitted student, you’re joining a vibrant community committed to helping you succeed. Haslam attracts engaged and ambitious students from across the country and the world. We’re so excited to show you what our college, UT and the business world has to offer. But first, let’s get a few things squared away so you can hit the ground running as soon as you set foot on campus.
Admissions
Transfer Students
Transfer students are admitted directly to Haslam at the point of admission to UT. Selection is competitive and based on a holistic review of academic achievement, extracurricular and leadership experiences and commitment to pursuing a business discipline. Students admitted to Haslam must maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA and earn a C or better in tracking courses.

Requirements
Current UT students who wish to change their major to business must do so through the Haslam College of Business: Change of Major Process. Students should email our advising office at busad@utk.edu with their name and student ID number.

Financial Aid
The 2025-2026 academic year scholarship application will be available on January 1, 2025, and will need to be completed no later than March 1, 2025. Learn more about financial aid via the below link.
