Student-run organizations and honor societies provide a deeper experience for students to learn about their fields of interest, gain leadership and professional skills, and build a community outside the classroom.
Each organization has their own goals, events and governance. Please visit their websites to learn more and become further engaged at the Haslam College of Business.

Undergraduate Student Leadership Councils
Haslam Presidents’ Council
Charged with creating opportunities for increased engagement with the college, peers, professional development, and service opportunities, the Council is made up of presidents from each of the active business-focused student organizations.
Haslam Student Advisory Council
Serves as the student advisory council to deans and administration with the Haslam College of Business. Members represent the student voice and opinion on academic programs and policies, coordinate activities for enhancement of professional growth, and develop and implement annual programs for college-wide participation. Undergraduate Haslam students are encouraged to apply for selection at the beginning of each academic year.

Alpha Kappa Psi (AKPsi)
Professional business fraternity aimed at developing well-trained, ethical, skilled, resourceful and experienced business leaders of all majors and disciplines.
Delta Sigma Pi (DSP)
Professional co-ed business fraternity that promotes brotherhood, fellowship, leadership and academic achievements in the business community

Asian Business Club
The Asian Business Club (ABC) is a group that brings together students who have an interest in Asian business, culture, and commerce.
Beta Gamma Sigma
Recognizes sophomores, juniors, and seniors in the top 10 percent of their class. Membership is the highest recognition students may receive in schools accredited by AACSB International.
University of Tennessee Entrepreneurship Club
Creates leaders and builds business by connecting and supporting entrepreneurial-minded students.
Diverse Organization of Business Students (DOBS)
Enhances students’ knowledge and understanding of diversity in the business world.
Haslam Women of Color
Haslam Women of Color is a student organization that aims provide a space for women of color in the Haslam College of Business and students interested in business to be able to network, build a sense of community, and strengthen their educational and professional goals.
Hispanic Business Student Association
The Hispanic Business Student Association brings together students from different backgrounds with the purpose of preparing them for the world of business.
International Business Club (IB Club)
Connects IB professionals with students who have an academic pursuit, a personal passion and/or a professional ambition for international business.
Kappa Alpha Pi Pre-Law and Government Fraternity
Kappa Alpha Pi Pre-Law and Government Fraternity fosters a community of individuals interested in pursuing careers within the legal and government fields.
Latino Business Student Association
The Latino Business Student Association connects Latino business students for social, professional, and academic purposes for life in the Haslam College of Business, at the University of Tennessee, and beyond.
Music Industry Club
MIC develops the talent of future leaders in music business by providing valuable speaker sessions, engaging professional development workshops, and career opportunities at the University of Tennessee Knoxville.
Sustainable Business Group at the University of Tennessee
The Sustainable Business Organization is Haslam’s first sustainability club! We are working to change the way UT does business in a more environmentally friendly way. There are minimal sustainable initiatives in place at UT, we want to be a student-led organization whose goal is to raise student concern on the topic and establish change.

The mission of Women of Haslam is to provide educational and business networking connections that support, enrich and inspire women to develop professionally and personally.
Accounting & Information Management
AIM Accounting Alliance (AAA)
Allows accounting students to gain experience with the recruitment process, to develop interviews skills and to acquire insight into the accounting profession.
Beta Alpha Psi
Recognizes outstanding achievement in accounting, finance, and information management systems and provides opportunities for self-development and networking in financial professions.
National Association of Black Accountants (NABA)
Enhances opportunities for minorities in accounting, finance and other business-related professions.

Women in Accounting hosts speakers of any gender who can address common issues women face in the workplace, and strategies to overcome them.

Business Analytics Society (BAS)
Founded by students interested in gaining exposure to real-life data, analytics and statistics in hands-on experiences.
Sports Analytics Club
Open to undergraduate and graduate students, this organization brings sports analytics professionals to campus once a year and competes in a national competition.

Financial Management Association (FMA)
Fosters the educational advancement of the finance major and encourages the exchange of finance-related information.
The Real Estate Club
Speakers from various areas of real estate including but not limited to Commercial, Industrial and Residential. Future field trips to project sites and competing in case competitions are also planned.
Tennessee Capital Markets Society (TCMS)
Selective, student-managed organization that focused on moving students into high-profile finance jobs and providing members the skills required for a career in capital markets.
UT Investment Group (UTIG)
Focuses on financial literacy and building personal wealth by learning the basics of trading stocks, ETFs and options and encourages competition in trading through opportunities like Wolf on Vol Street and Trade Like a Girl.
Women in Finance
Women in Finance (WinFin) creates a space to allow females pursuing finance to grow professionally, while having the ability to form connections and a support system to pursue finance confidently.

Open to all UT students seeking to discover their leadership potential and develop valuable professional skills.

Promotes knowledge and the practical applications of human resource management.

American Marketing Association (AMA)
Encourages students to learn about the marketing discipline as it relates to business through current topics and trends.
Professional Sales Club
Open to students from all majors and colleges, the Professional Sales Club (PSC) empowers the next generation of diverse sales talent through career development with our Marketing and Sales Innovation Alliance (MSIA) corporate partners, sales-specific training session series, professional development opportunities, exclusive recruiting and networking events and high-value professional engagement interactions with an emphasis on creating a culture that prepares students for success and placement in sales careers. New for 2024-2025, the PSC will explore additional social activities and volunteerism opportunities for all members. The organization has rebranded to focus specifically on professional sales training opportunities, networking and recruiting with MSIA partners, internships and career pathways in professional sales.
Supply Chain Management
Tennessee Association of Supply Chain
Educates all students about the exciting and rewarding career opportunities in supply chain management within a global context.
Supply Chain Automation & Robotics (SCAR)
SCAR is a student organization dedicated to building scaled components of a supply chain using robotics/automation, coding and applying supply chain principles like collaboration and data collection for process improvements. While the other supply chain student organizations focus primarily on general professional development, SCAR focuses on applied learning opportunities, including completing real-world projects with companies and organizing site visits to local operations and manufacturing facilities.
