The faculty is one thing that makes UT special for me. Dr. Easler has been a mentor to me since I met her during my freshmen year. She has worked with me to help me identify study abroad opportunities and given me valuable advice for internships. Having faculty like Dr. Easler is what makes UT such a special environment for me because I feel that they are truly invested in my success.

I am proud of the study abroad trips I have taken during my time at UT. These trips have helped me learn about different cultures and their beliefs and customs. I have studied abroad in Belize, Greece, and Germany. I am also preparing to spend the Spring semester in Florence, Italy. Being accepted to these programs has allowed me to experience the world.

One of the best courses I have taken so far is marketing 350. It is one of the first major marketing classes that I have taken, and it has been an amazing experience. The professor makes sure to help us understand marketing beyond textbook definitions. She gives us real life examples and allows us to connect with people in the field to see different areas we could be interested in.

One thing I would recommend is to study abroad. Whether it is a mini-term or semester, it is the best experiences I have had. I have met some of my best friends through these trips and made lifelong memories.

Another thing I would recommend to any student is to join clubs. Whether it is an academic club or a social club, they are amazing ways to make friends. They are also a good way to start networking and learning more about yourself and what you want your future career to be like.
