Molly Adams and Christi Branscom were honored at the Women in Business Conference on Oct. 24 with Accomplished Alumni Awards from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
Adams (HCB ’84) currently is executive vice president of global product development for Disney Consumer Products, the business affiliate of The Walt Disney Company. In her role, she delivers brand consistency, quality and sales performance across thousands of product categories from toys and apparel to fine art.
Branscom (HCB ’87), a finance major, serves as the deputy to the mayor and chief operating officer for the City of Knoxville. Previously, she was senior director of public works, the first woman in Knoxville’s history to hold the position. She also is a part owner of Grace Construction and Partners Development, where she worked for 20 years as legal counsel and managing broker.
The Accomplished Alumni Award recognizes notable alumni for success and distinction within their field. A variety of alumni have been featured through the program, including CEOs of major corporations, Olympians, authors, artists, musicians, U.S. ambassadors and civic leaders.
The Women in Business Conference was a single-day event hosting 20 female students from the college’s MBA program.
