I am so thankful I had the opportunity to experience the beauty of Cuba. We live in a country polluted by consumerism and materialism. In Cuba, people truly care about their family their friends and live a happier way of life. I learned that wealth does not mean happiness and since coming back I have been fully embracing and enjoying my life. Traveling is extremely necessary to gain perspective and step outside the bubble of our country. I am grateful every day I got the chance to immerse myself in culture.
