Development Economics in the South Workshop (DevSouth)

The second Development Economics in the South (DevSouth) Workshop will be hosted by the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, on Friday, April 19, 2024. The workshop aims to foster the regional network of development economists based in the South of the United States. The event will consist of a small set of presentations on various topics. We welcome submissions in all areas of development economics.
Call for papers: Full papers are prioritized, but extended abstracts are also considered. The deadline to submit a paper is March 1, 2024, and decisions will be sent no later than March 15. The program committee is Andrew Dustan (William & Mary), Stephen O’Connell (Emory University) and Marcos A. Rangel (Duke University). The deadline to register for the workshop is March 29th, 2024.
