Ben Martin is the Chief Data Analytics Officer for Hanesbrands Inc. He has responsibility for advanced analytic functions globally and has spent the last decade establishing analytics as a core competency at Hanes. He also leads the Global Planning function with responsibility for demand planning, capacity planning, inventory planning, production planning, and material planning.
Ben received his Ph.D. from North Carolina State University and his expertise involves simulation-based optimization, process simulation, organization design & development, and critical process improvement.
Prior to joining Hanes, Ben consulted in a variety of business functions in the textile, apparel, automotive, medical device, cosmetic, semiconductor, and healthcare industries.
He lives in Winston-Salem, N.C. with his wife and son.
