Biography

Emily C. Dickey is an assistant professor of supply chain management at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Haslam College of Business. She teaches manufacturing and service operations management. Dickey’s research focuses on behavioral operations management and sustainability, examining the cognitive and emotional factors that influence managers’ decision-making in operations and global supply chains. Her work uses empirical and experimental methods to study how managers address social sustainably issues, such as fair working conditions and reasonable working hours, in manufacturing and service environments.
