Biography
After earning both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Haslam College of Business, John Paxton began his career with Vulcan Materials Company on the internal audit team. Building a strong foundation in risk management and operational controls, he transitioned into his current role as a business performance advisor. Paxton partners closely with sales and operations leadership to drive strategic growth across South Georgia markets. On the commercial side, he focuses on optimizing customer portfolios through profit margin analysis, sourcing opportunities and new market expansion. On the operational side, Paxton collaborates directly with management on production planning, cost-saving initiatives and capital allocation.
