The Influential Leadership Certificate prepares business honors students to lead with self-awareness, ethical integrity, and adaptive influence in complex organizational environments. Designed for business honors students, the certificate develops personal, interpersonal, and systemic leadership capabilities needed to guide people, decisions, and change. Students cultivate foundations in emotional intelligence, mindset awareness, and social influence, strengthening empathy, communication, and relational judgment. Emphasizing ethical leadership and responsible decision making, students examine ethical dilemmas, competing moral perspectives, and organizational pressures. The certificate builds capacity to lead organizational change through change frameworks, power and influence, readiness, resilience, and effective stakeholder engagement. Students must be a business major admitted to the Business Fellows Honors Program to pursue this certificate.
