Haslam College of Business - Bridging Research & Practice: NIL

The Anderson Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation’s Bridging Research & Practice event is where professionals and researchers from many industries come together to forge meaningful connections, share experiences, and strengthen their networks.

There are still a lot of questions around NIL including the key advantages to individuals pursuing these deals, companies that provide them, and the risks involved for all parties with NIL deals. We believe small businesses, in particular, might be able to leverage NIL deals to help grow their companies. Join us at our Bridging Research & Practice event to learn about NIL Deals and what individuals and companies need to know in order to maximize their value. 

We are bringing together small business owner, Mike Maddux, a UT NIL student athlete, Tess Darby, and two UT researchers, Joan Heminway and Mark Willoughby, to help connect and build bridges between entrepreneurship research and practice concerning NIL.
