Transformational growth

brings ambitious efforts.

The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, will begin clearing ground this fall for a new business building. The 300,000-square-foot structure comes on the heels of nearly a decade of exponential growth in the business student population. The new, state-of-the-art facility will house classrooms, centers, labs, graduate and executive education, and meeting and office spaces.

To meet the need for space for business education and research, the Haslam College of Business has been approved for an additional business building to be located across from the Haslam Business Building on Volunteer Boulevard. This new, state-of-the-art facility will house classrooms, centers and labs, meeting spaces, graduate education, office space, and more.

The current estimate is for the building to be over 300k square feet, the largest building on campus second only to the Student Union.

The current budget is $227 million, and our ambitious goal is that $100 million of this will be privately funded by alumni and friends. Gifts from Haslam donors will transform bricks and mortar into a state of the art learning environment for future business leaders.
