Funding Update

It is an exhilarating time to be part of the Haslam College of Business. For the first time, our student population has surpassed 10,000, making us the largest college at the University of Tennessee. Additionally, several new faculty members have joined our ranks, further enriching our academic environment. Development continues on a new building, expected to be completed in fall 2027, which will be the new home for the expanded Anderson Center, our academic departments, and state-of-the-art research facilities. We also will have an additional 18 classrooms to support student learning. We continue to make investments in our infrastructure and enhance the student experience with professional development training, internship support, and opportunities for study abroad experiences. Private philanthropy continues to play a vital role in funding, allowing us to launch new programs, expand existing ones, and support our students throughout their educational journey at Haslam. As we address the economic challenges our students and their families face, the importance of increasing private philanthropy, initiating successful new projects, and controlling our costs has never been greater.
