The Neel Corporate Governance Speaker Series was founded in 2003 with three speakers from regional law firms. Since then it has brought academics, politicians, regulators, industry executives, board members and other experts in corporate governance from around the country.
The series has six to eight speakers per year. Sessions typically convene on Fridays from 10:30 a.m.-noon in room 402 of the Haslam Business Building. Join our mailing list to get regular updates about upcoming speakers or RSVP for an upcoming event.
Attendees garner 1.8 CPE credit hours for each event in the series. The Neel Center can issue certificates for these credits and keeps summaries of the speech notes.
We welcome referrals to our Distinguished Speaker Series. We seek regulators, auditors, consultants, corporate executives or board members, creditors, investors and other guests who can speak about their personal experiences in corporate governance. Please email us if you’d like to contribute.
