The Haslam College of Business has hired Jim Rosenberg as the director of corporate engagement for the healthcare division of Graduate and Executive Education. He will begin his new position on August 1.
Rosenberg comes to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, after running his own business, Workbench Consulting, in Washington, D.C., since 2014. Rosenberg has worked with faculty from several universities, including Harvard Business School, Stanford Business School and Vanderbilt University, to create custom executive education programs for national nonprofits and government agencies. He also created and taught online courses for the University of Pennsylvania’s executive education programs.
At Haslam, Rosenberg will work as part of the business development and corporate engagement team. His responsibilities will include developing client relationships and custom course offerings, primarily in the healthcare space.
Bruce Behn, associate dean for graduate and executive education at the college, says Rosenberg’s business experience and expertise in crafting courses will augment the team’s capabilities.
“Jim’s approach to building long-term client relationships and custom solutions is an excellent fit with GEE’s approach,” Behn says. “With Jim’s arrival, we look forward to further enhancement of the Haslam brand, expansion of our executive education offerings and robust growth in our corporate partner engagement.”
