Haslam College of Business - Alex Colclough

Biography

Alex Colclough is an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Accounting and Information Management at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Haslam College of Business, instructing students on fundamentals of information security.

Additionally, Colclough is a senior information security engineer at Clayton Homes, where he primarily focuses on incident response, purple team testing, risk management and other general cyber security work duties. He has a variety of certifications, including Certified Information Security Systems Practitioner (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Practitioner (CCSP), GIAC certified Incident Handler (GCIH) and Security+. With over 10 years of experience in the IT sector, Colclough has well-rounded experience on a variety of practices in information security.

Colclough also is a first lieutenant in the Air National Guard as a cyber operations officer, where he primarily focuses on tactical communication equipment and deployment.
