Biography

Allen Espinosa is a lecturer in the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Haslam College of Business.

Espinosa has a professional background spanning law, tax, economic development and international business. Before entering academia, he worked in both private and public-sector consulting roles, supporting business growth initiatives and navigating the complexities of international trade law and compliance frameworks. Espinosa’s experience includes working with clients on tariff classification, trade compliance, incentive structuring, and strategic expansion in both domestic and foreign markets.

Espinosa aims to guide students through a blend of academic rigor and real-world expertise, equipping them with the skills needed to thrive in a complex, interconnected world.
